One of the busiest or craziest days for businesses and customers is here and Walmart is preparing history-making deals. As one of the widely recognized retailers across the globe, American customers are promised an inflation-beating dinner for Thanksgiving. We are also checking out some of the items that will attract buyers in November including Black Friday deals.
A look at Walmart’s historic offer for Thanksgiving
The American store, Walmart is now aiming to relaunch its inflating beating Thanksgiving deal to woo their customers. As the information suggests, the menu will be available at a low $53 for a family of eight people.
Included in the menu according to Viral Mag is a giant Turkey, side dishes consisting of fresh veggies and dessert, enough for eight people or an entire family to feast on it. The offer is valid from October 14 to December 25.
“The magic of Thanksgiving is all about being together. With this promotion, we want to allow everyone to preserve this precious bond, especially in difficult times,” said a Walmart spokesperson.
Why Walmart recognises the importance of Thanksgiving
To share an insight into this special moment for families, Thanksgiving is an annual national holiday, especially for those from the United States and Canada. During this day, siblings and families often celebrate the blessings of the past year over a feast.
For the Americans who celebrate it on November 28, Thanksgiving is widely seen or celebrated in line with the 1621 harvest feast which was shared by the Pilgrims of Plymouth.
So, from a business or retail perspective, Walmart opted to capitalise on this moment and offer something unique. This offering comes in handy as most families will worry about not spending too much money.
Considering the importance of this event, Walmart decided to rescue and ease concerns about tight budgets with the return of its anti-inflation menu. Above that, Walmart also uses this opportunity to grant its customers the privilege to unite during this time of sharing.
Walmart’s historic offering coincides with Black Friday
The arrival of Black Friday signals the end of the year and it is very closer than you think. Naturally so, retailers such as Walmart, Target and others, will circulate adverts on unbelievable deals.
Besides the unusual Thanksgiving feast at a low price, like all the other years, this year’s Black Friday marks a day of savings where items such as smart TVs, laptops and mobile phones will be on slashed prices.
When Is Black Friday at Walmart
Looking at the American calendar, this year’s official Black Friday date is November 29, and that day comes after the eagerly anticipated Thanksgiving.
However, their early deals are expected to be publicised well before the official date. Retailers such as Best Buy will start theirs on November 9 while Walmart will have its own two days later.
If you are a Walmart Plus discount subscriber, you are eligible to score a handsome 50% price cut ahead of this year’s Black Friday sale.
For example, you get to fork out $49 for an item that is priced at $98 which is way cheaper than Amazon Prime by $90. In addition, some of the perks include free grocery delivery and free shipping with no minimum order value just to mention but a few.
